Who says it's too early for Fantasy Football 2010?

The 2010 NFL Season may seem a ways away, but not so in TFG land.  You see, I was invited by Chet Gresham at Razzball.com to participate in one of the first off-season mock fantasy drafts by fantasy "experts." (Note: I will always put expert in quotes. While some folks clearly know the intricacies of football more than others and can do some more refined number crunching, let's face it, fantasy is one big crapshoot at the end of the day.)  But the group I'm playing with are still top of the line fantasy analysts, and  I'm honored to be in their company. 

The only surprising trend thus far is quarterbacks being taken very high, clearly a product of the huge numbers put up by so many gunslingers.  I'm not sure there is any official "must take a quarterback now because they all drop off from here" guy, but it's somewhere between Romoland and Roethlisbergerville.

I have the #2 pick and my roster is as follows:  QB:Tom Brady, RB: Chris Johnson, RB: Darren McFadden, WR: Brandon Marshall, WR: Braylon Edwards, WR: T.J. Houshmandzadeh

Here's the list of participants, along with their respective websites -- all of which offer great fantasy info.  Feel free to check in our draft here and offer up any advice.  Judging by the razzing I took after drafting  Edwards in the 4th round, I might need it.

Nothing worse than wasting away in Roethlisbergerville....some people say the offensive line is to blame, but I know it's my own damn fault (for drafting him every year).

But sometimes he can be a Roethlisberger in paradise.
