Adventures in Miami: Part One

If you don’t want to hear me self-indulgently blather on about fun, sun, and lots of NFL players, then slowly step away. But for those that might give a damn about my South Florida adventures, I’m here to share all. Due to some crummy DC weather, the trip was delayed, so it’s going to be short, sweet and jam-packed!
The prelude to the trip was pretty intense. You see, I just missed the boat on a Forbes.com story about female football fashion. But then they asked me to write a guest column previewing the Super Bowl! I quickly cranked it out before my flight - and voila, here it is all published. http://www.forbes.com/2010/02/04/super-bowl-saints-colts-forbes-woman-time-manning-kardashian.html?boxes=Homepagechannels
Then I sped off to the airport. Once situated on the plane, I got to talking to the man sitting next to me who coincidently turned out to be a bigwig at the NFLPA. Let’s just say I arrived in Miami knowing a lot more about the Collective Bargaining Agreement than when I departured.
Event #1 for me today was the Reggie Bush/Devin Hester Pool Party sponsored by Red Bull. While the event was sans Reggie (and Kim), there were plenty of mid level players to support Devin in his hosting duties. Most of them were gawking at the hard to describe how scantily clad women parading around. Luckily I don’t need words because I have a pic! These two ladies called themselves Brazilian models, but I they looked a little more hooker than model to me.
Sorry boys, top up only!
Oh, and I got the party’s host to say RED BULL!
I asked Devin a few Bears related questions, which I’ll transcribe for you later. Off to the EA Sports/Madden Bowl party.
